Music Student Safety

If you are booking piano lessons, drum lessons or music lessons for your child you naturally wish to ensure their safety at all times. I have been working with children for twenty five years and hold a full enhanced disclosure certificate which you are more than welcome to inspect. I am also a registered teacher with the Musicians' Union and RSL (Rockschool) Ltd..

Parents are encouraged to stay with the child  for the first few lessons if they feel they would like to, and I am more than happy for parents to sit in on lessons, whenever they wish, (but please note having other children present such as younger siblings can be very distracting for the student.) I also have full Public Liability insurance through the Musicians' Union and take every care to ensure students are safe at all times.

Please note that I do insist that younger students are brought for lessons by someone over eighteen, unless they are old enough to get themselves to the lesson. Only the parent/guardian is allowed to remain with the student during the lesson.
